Ike K. Ahmed, M.D. is a world-renowned ophthalmologist, glaucoma and cataract surgeon, and a pioneering innovator in anterior segment surgery. Widely recognized for his leadership in complex surgical techniques and the development of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), Dr. Ahmed serves as a scientific advisor to Eye to Eye Telehealth, bringing decades of clinical and research expertise to the company’s mission. He is the Director of the Prism Eye Institute and Chief Innovation Officer at the Kensington Eye Institute, and holds academic appointments at the University of Toronto and the University of Utah. Dr. Ahmed’s guidance helps shape E2E’s clinical strategy and ensures that innovation remains tightly aligned with real-world patient and provider needs.
